Amazon Prime Day 2024 is coming soon, so you still have time to sign up for a free Prime trial before the shopping event begins. However, in typical Amazon fashion, we’re already starting to see the first Prime Day deals pop up. The online retailer has made a habit of offering early Prime Day deals leading up to the big event, with most of them available exclusively to Prime members. However, there are still some great tech deals on Amazon that are available to everyone at the same time. We’ve rounded up the best Prime Day deals right here so you don’t have to hunt for them. We’ll be updating this article regularly, so check back for the latest discounts.

Apple

A four-pack of Apple AirTags is currently on sale for $80, bringing the price of each one down to just $20. We named the AirTag the best Bluetooth tracker for iPhone users in our guide to these keychains, thanks to Apple’s vast finder network that calls every nearby iPhone to anonymously search for your lost items.

The latest stylus for iPad, the Apple Pencil Pro is currently on sale for $119 on Amazon. That’s just $10 less than its original price, but it’s the first discount on the new accessory since its launch last month. The new Pencil Pro recognizes taps, which can trigger actions like displaying app-specific tool palettes and shortcuts, and gives you haptic feedback when you use it. It can also detect barrel roll for greater precision when drawing.

Apple’s latest MacBook Pros are on sale: The 14.2-inch version is down to $1,749 for a configuration with an M3 Pro chip, 18GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD at Amazon and B&H. That’s $250 off Apple’s list price and $50 below the street price we’ve seen on Amazon over the past two months, though it’s $50 more than the lowest price we’ve tracked. The 16.2-inch model is also on sale for $2,199, which is an all-time low. That model has the same base specs, though it has a slightly more powerful 12-core CPU (instead of the 11-core chip in the 14-inch model) and an 18-core GPU (instead of a 14-core unit) alongside its roomier display. Just keep in mind that we may or may not see new M4-based models by the end of the year.

If you’re an Amazon Prime member who’s never subscribed to Prime Music, you can now get five months of the music streaming service for free. If you’re a new user who doesn’t have Prime Music, you can get a three-month free trial. The service normally costs $10 per month for those who are Prime Music subscribers and $11 per month for those who aren’t.

Music Unlimited isn’t a solid recommendation in our guide: Its interface isn’t as polished or cleverly organized as Apple Music, our top pick, and we found it a bit aggressive in promoting podcasts that you might not care about. That said, it’s hard to beat the free service, and the service has more or less the same massive music library as its peers. It also supports lossless streaming, unlike Spotify, which is a nice perk for audiophiles with high-quality wired headphones. If you’re just looking to save a little money on your music streaming for a few months, this should do the trick. Just remember to cancel at the end of the free trial, as your subscription will be set to auto-renew by default.

Prime subscribers can now get the Amazon Echo Dot Kids for $28, which is the lowest price we’ve seen. The smart speaker technically has a list price of $60, though we’ve seen it fall into the $35-45 range a few times over the past year.

As the name suggests, this is a kid-friendly variation of Amazon’s miniature home speaker: it uses the same spherical hardware as the standard model, but features a cute themed design of the owl or dragon, a longer two-year warranty (instead of 90 days), and a one-year subscription to the company’s Kids+ service, which includes a range of audiobooks, games, music stations and others intended for children. Like the standard model, there’s also a fairly robust suite of parental controls. The quality of this Kids+ content can be scattered, and only you can decide whether you’re comfortable with installing an Amazon speaker in your child’s room (although there is a mute button ). The standard Echo Dot is the “best pick under $50” in our guide to the best smart speakers and will almost certainly be on sale during Prime Day. But if you’re looking for an affordable music and audiobook player that your little one can control with their voice, this is what you need.

The Anker Soundcore Space A40 earbuds are back at a rock-bottom price of $59, a savings of $21 off the full price. Plus, the sound itself is nice and warm.

Bose

These Bose wireless earbuds are currently $179. That’s $100 off their usual price and the lowest we’ve seen them. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are a bit newer, but they’re still solid earbuds with excellent noise cancellation for the price.

Our top pick for a Wi-Fi 6E mesh system is TP-Link’s Deco XE75, and currently it’s on sale for just $290 for a set of three. That’s after a 31% discount and a $20 clickable coupon. Overall, this is the lowest price we’ve seen on the shelf so far. We like how it balances power and usability, providing fast connections to places in your home that might previously be spotty.
