WWE SmackDown SPOILERS from Saudi Arabia

Even if on May 24 King and Queen of the Ring going home, episode of Smack down will air at its usual time at 8 p.m. ET on USA in the United States, it will not be live. Indeed, the show takes place at the site of tomorrow’s premium live event, the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia. This means that spoilers will be available for those who wish to participate.

These will include semi-final matches in the King and Queen of the Ring tournament, as Bianca Belair takes on Nia Jax to see who advances to face Lyra Valkyria in Saturday’s final and Randy Orton takes on The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga to see who gets it. Gunther on PLE. A (seemingly non-title) bout between WWE Women’s Champion Bayley and Chelsea Green was announced for the show, as well as AJ Styles’ meeting with the blue brand’s general manager, Nick Aldis.

We will update this article as results come in from Jeddah.

  • The Bloodline arrives for the show. Michael Cole and Corey Graves are gathered for commentary. Cole’s regular Friday night partner Wade Barrett is also in attendance.
  • We see the arrivals of Nia Jax and Bianca Belair as Triple H reminds us of the tournament winners. Summer Slam title shots.
  • Nia Jax def. Bianca Belair will advance to the finals of tomorrow’s Queen of the Ring tournament. Belair injured his knee while performing some impressive power moves, but failed to achieve the KOD. Jax used the advantage as an opening for his Annihilator finish (Bonzai Drop) for the pinfall victory.
  • While the trainers watch Belair, Kayla Braxton attempts to interview Jax in the ring. Nia fires her and sends a message to QotR runner-up Lyra Valkyria that she just eliminated another big name after beating Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley. She plans to go through Lyra to beat another in Bayley and become champion.
  • We see champions Austin Theory and Grayson Waller talking backstage.
  • After a break, we see Bianca icing her knee when Tiffany Stratton walks by to mock her for the loss. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell do the same, so Jade Cargill appears to defend her partner. Jade is going to go see Aldis for a match because it looks like LeRae and Hartwell want their wigs separated.
  • LA Knight is presented by Theory and is a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect, but Carmelo Hayes comes out instead. Melo describes his accomplishments (with Theory interjecting to remind us that he beat Hayes on SmackDown earlier this year), and Waller agrees that he’s a better guest anyway. Hayes takes a few shots at Bobby Lashley in an effort to allow the youngsters to lock horns against veterans, like Knight, who they believe has accomplished nothing. They mock the “YEAH”, finally bringing out LA.
  • Knight bursts into the ring, destroys the talk show set and says he’s going to keep it short and sweet because he has better things to do: if they keep this up, he’s going to remind them whose game it is. He’s going to leave but is abandoned by Hayes. The Street Profits arrive to put an end to the three-on-one attack.
  • We get a video touting the debut of Blair Davenport.
  • LA Knight, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins def. Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. The finish saw Knight send Hayes to the announce desk after Melo broke his post-BFT coverage on Waller, allowing Ford to pin the Australian after a frog splash.
  • A clip from yesterday’s Kickoff event is shown where Logan Paul gave Cole his brass knuckles and vowed not to use them against Cody Rhodes tomorrow.
  • We get a possible SummerSlam when Rhodes and Randy Orton cross paths backstage.
  • After a refresher on the two-night SummerSlam announcement, Tonga walks backstage. Paul Heyman keeps a good distance when following him.
  • Cody is there to see what people want to talk about, but Logan Paul interrupts him before he can ask. Paul insults the champion, saying his intelligence will trump Rhodes’ experience tomorrow and let him leave Saudi Arabia with two belts. Because he’s also a better athlete and performer, he won’t need his brass punches tomorrow. Rhodes counters by saying that Paul suffers from imposter syndrome and is a scared kid who is afraid of being exposed as a fraud. He thinks he has his hands on him right now.
  • This leads Logan to agree to be searched. When the brass knuckles are actually found in one of his pockets, he says they are not his pants and blames his brother. Eventually, he admits that he brought them to protect himself. Cody cuts a passionate promo about the reality of him and his entire family, touting Paul as a talent but saying he will never be WWE Champion until he commits to the business full time.
  • Byron Saxton interviews Orton about his match tonight. Bloodline may have numbers, but he has overcome obstacles throughout his career and will show Tama just how vicious he can be. Tonga may see it coming, but it still won’t be able to resist the three most devastating letters in sports entertainment: RKO.
  • Bayley passed Jax on her way to the ring in another potential SummerSlam title match. Nia tells him to keep the title intact until August.
  • The Street Profits are interviewed backstage at B-Fab. #DIY cuts to that, with Johnny Gargano saying they’re on SmackDown to win the Tag Titles. Tommaso Ciampa throws Ford’s drink before they leave the scene.
  • Bayley def. Chelsea Green via pinfall after a Roseplant. She is immediately splashed by Piper Niven. Bayley fights back, but ends up taking three feels from Niven in a scene perhaps signaling that the Scot will get a title shot. Showdown at the castle in Glasgow next month.
  • AJ Styles makes his case for a shot at the winner of tomorrow’s Rhodes/Paul match, saying he needs another shot at the WWE Title. General Manager Nick Aldis says that on a personal level, he would do almost anything for Styles, but on a professional level, he has to tell him to get another chance. AJ says he doesn’t have time for this and storms off.
  • After a video of Andrade talking about his history and touting his SmackDown debut, we see Legado Del Fantasma talking about himself. Berto would have liked Andrade to stay on Monday night, but Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez suggest forgetting the past and not ruling anything out.
  • Paul Heyman informs Solo Sikoa that Tonga Loa couldn’t enter Saudi Arabia and says that’s why Roman Reigns didn’t recruit such dangerous people. Sikoa tells him that he must fix all the problems caused by the Tongans’ past. We look set to learn more about Heyman’s concerns about Tama Tonga when he winds up, leaving the Wiseman shaken again.
  • An addition to tomorrow’s card: Belair and Cargill will defend the WWE Women’s Titles against LeRae and Hartwell on To start up Countdown show.
  • We see Gunther in the crowd ready to watch the main event…
  • Randy Orton def. Tama Tonga via pinfall after an RKO to advance to the final of tomorrow’s King of the Ring tournament. Sikoa’s interference thwarted an RKO, but Orton is unavoidable.
  • During a staredown between Orton and Gunther, Solo hits Randy with the Samoan Spike. Kevin Owens manages to even the odds against The Bloodline. Sikoa avoids taking a Stunner then puts him forward while KO celebrates with Orton to close the show.
